Mr-Meteorite

On May 8, 2009 nearly three months after I first met Hopper my son Ruben Jr and I made the 1200 mile trip back to West, Texas to buy the loveable K9 and bring her back to Arizona.

Ruben had a great time hunting for meteorites right there in Hoppers back yard for a few hours until Pauline came home from work.  Then they both decided it was time to give her a bath in preperation for the long ride back to Phoenix.

Hopper was typically gentle as Ruben lathered her up and then rinsed her off.

Of course she already knew how to dry herself.

On the ride home we decided to stop and see the Odessa crater. Fortunately dogs were allowed to tour the site.
